Some dog breeds are hard to tell apart due to their physical similarities. If we presented an Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky to you, would you be able to differentiate them immediately? Their similar thick coats of fur and size may make it difficult, but remember that unlike the Malamute tail, the Husky tail does not curl to either side of the body. We also got confused when looking at a Boston Terrier and a French Bulldog. These small dogs have adorable flat faces, as their lineage involved English Bulldogs. However, taking note of the terrier’s black and white “tuxedo” pattern can help you distinguish it from its plumper counterpart.
Test your visual acuity by spotting the difference in the following groups of images. One pup doesn’t look like the other three, can you pick it out?
