The first 11 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have spanned three Phases, with a total of 23 movies. Taken as a whole, the MCU is an undeniable achievement in cinema. Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America: Civil War are classics of the genre now, while Thor: Ragnarok, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther demonstrate superhero movies remain capable of reinvention for new relevancy.
A lot of Marvel fans have seen most of the first 23 MCU movies. There are already plans for Phase Four, which include Black Widow, and sequels for Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Thor. TV shows The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki will soon be launched on the Disney+ streaming platform. Phase Five is expected to include the arrival of the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU, plus Blade, sequels for Black Panther and Captain Marvel, and Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
