I got 17 out of 18!
I got tripped up by the homo- terms. Also, 44% through the quiz there is a question about terms made from a combination of parts of words in a phrase, such as radar or . The answer given was “acronym” but it is misleading. An acronym is a combination of letters that are spoken as a complete word, such as radar or NATO. More frequently, however, the letters cannot be easily said as a complete word, such as CIA or AI. These are called “initialisms.” Both acronyms and initialisms are types of abbreviations.
