For example, one study found that people who were in a negative mood were more likely to crave comfort foods like pizza and ice cream. People who were feeling more positive were more likely to crave healthier foods like fruits and vegetables.
As you can see, your mood can influence the types of foods you crave. If you’re feeling down, you may be more likely to crave comfort foods. If you’re feeling happy, you are more likely to want healthier options.
Of course, this is just a small sample of research and everyone is different. Some people may find that their mood has little to no effect on their food cravings.
