The 1990s were an interesting time. The internet was just in its infancy, music was moving on from the '80s and nobody could figure out just what was going on with fashion trends of the day. We were sure we wanted to separate ourselves from the '80s but beyond that nobody knew what they were doing.

Those who experienced the decade firsthand will tell you, however, that for all the decade’s follies, it produced some really good music and several notable trends developed during this time. Punk made a comeback, pop music started to expand, and the music industry entered a truly creative phase, the likes of which we don’t see as much of today.
