We all know how difficult it is to go grocery shopping. Navigating toddler tantrums, aisle spillages and grumpy queuers is all just part and parcel of the experience --- it's far from ideal, but something we have all learned to live with. However, what seems like an added and unfair level of difficulty is when food starts to pretend to be something that it is not.
Nectarines and peaches look similar, and are part of same family, but they aren't exactly the same. Peaches have fuzzy skin and are a little bigger than nectarines, which have smooth skin and are firmer. Likewise plantains and bananas come from the same family but are two totally different foods. While bananas are eaten raw for their sweet taste, plantains are starchy like potatoes.

22/24 Couple of them fooled me the grapefruit looked nothing like ours, altho in some shops they do sell the pink ones which are sweeter but your pic was very dark. And the acai berries which I thought were bluberries, trying to rush again!!
