The only reason I go into a fast food place is to get a soft ice cream cone from McDonald’s. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a hamburger. But in 1981 I did go several times to a Burger King outlet on Piccadilly Circus in London to get a fish sandwich (a “Whaler”) because the company I was working for had its offices not too far away on Old Bond Street.
