You're a genius at the English language! Somehow you knew the definitions of all the words.

Synonyms are words or phrases that share an exact or close to identical meaning with another word or phrase in the same language. So, knowing many synonyms of a particular word improves your vocabulary significantly.
Instead of using the word 'interesting', you could switch it with intriguing, exciting, fascinating, riveting, amusing, engrossing, entertaining or even newsworthy. Yes, that is a lot of words that can be used to describe the same thing. Also, rather than using the word 'say', you might choose more descriptive words like answer, announce, disclose, express, convey, imply, state and much more, depending on the situation.
In this quiz, see if you can pick out the words that aren't synonyms of the one in question. All the options presented are synonyms except for one, and we are looking for the one that is farthest away in meaning from the one stated. The more words you get right, the more synonyms you know and the closer you are to being a linguistic expert.

One of the questions needs to be rewritten. The question is which word is not a synonym of bionic. I answered “extraordinary,” which was deemed incorrect. The word not a synonym was given as “electric.” However, the Merriam-Webster dictionary gives this definition of “bionic”: “Having normal biological capability or performance enhanced by or as if by electronic or electromechanical devices.” Thus, “electric” can be a synonym of “bionic.” No one would argue, on the other hand, that “extraordinary” was a synonym of “bionic.”

14/15. Words are in my comfort zone. A couple of the synonyms were a bit iffy. The one I got wrong was bionic. It was a coin toss between extraordinary and electric because neither are really a synonym for bionic. I will admit bionics might give you extraordinary capabilities, but if someone has an extraordinary talent you would not describe it as bionic. Tenuous at best. I have since checked dictionary meanings on Google and believe I may be correct. Happy to be corrected if not.
Me too!
