Well, I said OK to one food: edible flowers. That seemed pretty harmless compared to “live octopus” (although back in my meat-eating days I had cooked octopus several times in Greece) or a spider (although fried insects can often be found in markets in Thailand). Incidentally, I didn’t see any photo for the question about eating Taiwanese food in a toilet-themed restaurant. Was it redacted?

Re: One of the questions about eating a live octopus: May I just say that anyone who would eat ANYTHING while it’s still alive is the lowest form of a savage. There is never a time or a place for that. Ever. Show a little respect for life and don’t cause unnecessary suffering.

I got Grace. Would not eat hardly any of these most were disgusting. Very fussy with age and very traditional dont eat hot spicy stuff or crispy spiders or a poor live octopus think the type that do are sick in the head, yuck thanksfor making me feel quite ill and nearly lunchtime!!!!

I got GRACE, mmmm perhaps sometimes, would’nt make a fuss just would not eat most of these or go anywhere that served them. Might try some of them, but rest certainly not,yuk yuk eating a little live octopus, how yuk and cruel. I love octopus and enjoy watching them in Aquariums. that’s if you can find them and they come out of their hidey holes. Fascinating creatures, very intelligent and sadly don’t live long.Once played with one, must have liked me or was bored, keptswimming to the glass on tank and sticking himself or herself to itin front of my face,then back again and repeating it as if coming for a quick nosey at me while I spoke to himand traced my finger on the glass.
