Many people go through life without ever finding their soulmate. Some people stay firm in their search for "the one", while others think that the idea of there being someone who is solely meant to be with one person is simply unrealistic. If you believe in soulmates and you think that you have already found that person, you may tend to overlook many mistakes that he or she makes. On the opposite spectrum, people who don't believe in the idea would seek out a partner who puts in the effort and treats them right in a relationship.
