Every chef knows that herbs can take a dish from good to great. Not only do herbs add a little extra nutrition to the food, they also boost the flavors of your cooking.
Whether it is the fresh or dried version, herbs can lend that instant zing to soups, pasta, stews, sautΓ©ed vegetables, curries, fried rice, salads and even dips and sauces. When used correctly, herbs will jazz up a dish and take it from dull and boring to breathtakingly delicious in just one sprinkle. Without herbs, the world β and our dishes β would be a lot blander.
