LEGO began in Denmark in the 1930s as a small workshop making wooden toys. Plastic bricks came later, and they were far from perfect at first. Early designs lacked the clutch power that makes modern LEGO bricks snap together so cleanly.

15/22. Not bad to say did not know much about Lego, only that youngest son used to spend hrs playing with it. His main present on B’days and Xmas was a large Lego set which he could spend as long as he wanted building it, keeps kids quiet and makes them think figure out for themselves, ha ha. Older kid didn’t bother with it, very different personalities. Had to guess some of these, know more now, pity no grandkids to buy for.

My youngest son, who is now 34 years old, seems to have benefited the most from the LEGO we have bought over the years. He has a degree in mechanical engineering and designs sound stages and concert stages in the UK.

Nearly everything I got right was a bit of a guess. My kids and grandkids were never into Lego, although a nephew was very into it.
