You must be a Pisces! You're a sensitive individual who is intuitive, so you pick up on others' emotions quickly and easily. You're a daydreamer, so you like your music to transport you to another world. This is why you love pop music!

The 2000s ushered in a new era in music. At the start of the new millennium, the focus on techno, rock, grunge, and other popular genres in the '90s shifted to R&B and pop, with multiple sub-genres. This shift can be seen clearly in the most played songs of the decade.

Usher was at the top of the charts for the most weeks in the noughties, with his reign at number one lasting for a whopping 41 weeks. The majority of those weeks on the charts were dominated by his hit, "Yeah!". Another song that was widely played across the world was "Apologize" by Timbaland featuring OneRepublic, after its release in 2006. But a song that outplayed both of these catchy tracks? "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey!

In this quiz, you get to create your own playlist with songs exclusively from the 2000s. Your choice of music from each given genre will help us determine what your star sign is!
