You're super brave! You're not afraid of what you'll look like eating in front of someone else, even if it's something messy or pungent. You eat what you love and feel no fear! If your date can’t handle it, they’re too high maintenance anyway.

First dates can be stressful and nerve-racking for anyone. Whether you're going out with someone you've never met before from a dating app, or a friend that you're spending time with in a romantic capacity for the first time, it's perfectly normal to feel a little nervous and worry that things won't go well. Many people choose to share a meal together as a first date activity. And that's when things can get interesting.
There are many foods that are pretty safe to eat without having to worry about stains or spills or scents that may ruin a first impression. But there are also plenty of messy foods with the potential to make the date go sour. Garlic bread, for instance, leaves you with garlic breath and crumbs all over your carefully put together outfit. Any dish that's saucy may mean you're probably going to get sauce all over yourself.
But there's no denying that messy foods tend to be the most delicious foods too. Some of us would not mind eating them on a first date nonetheless. Go through this list of messy foods, decide whether you will eat them on a first date, and we'll gauge how brave you are.

You’re kinda brave! You’re not the kind of person to shy away from eating most foods on a date, though you draw the line when it comes to eating something that will get stuck in your teeth or make your breath smell. You’re just being polite really.
Actually, I avoid food I wouldn’t eat any time – date or not.
I got the exact same thing

The real test of a date : see how long your white top / dress stays white while eating foods with very visible sauces. Over 20 minutes is a record.
Another test : eat smelly cheese (such as roquefort, or brie), and then lean in for a kiss. That will help you find out who will stay for life, and who is just there for you-know-what!
I speak from experience.

I mean…I wouldn’t stop them from eating what they like. I would hope they’d feel comfortable enough to do so.

It seems like you wouldn’t eat most of these foods on a date, or ever. Probably because you don’t like them in the first place anyway.
