With the advent of autocorrection, spell checking apps and other tools, many people simply rely on technology to fix their spelling mistakes these days. This can result in a person going through his or her whole life not really knowing how to spell certain words, instead depending entirely on autocorrect to correct their typos for them automatically.

Many people won't be able to pass this middle school spelling quiz but hopefully you can. The fact that not a lot of adults are able to pass a spelling test aimed at middle schoolers says a lot about our society and how little importance we place upon spelling.
