Did you know that all 50 states in the United States of America have nicknames? Some of them even have multiple nicknames that they are known by. This quiz will test you on many of the well-known state nicknames as well as some of the more obscure ones. Even if you haven't heard a nickname for a state before, there is a good chance you might be able to determine which of the options is correct if you happen to know a lot about the state itself. That will give you enough information to make an informed guess.

If you think you know a lot about the geography of the United States, then go ahead and give this quiz your best shot. If you are as knowledgeable as you think you are, you will probably do quite well. Even American geography students have problems getting 100% of the questions correct though, so perhaps it's best to temper your expectations.
