Gearing up for the highly anticipated third season of Netflix's smash hit Stranger Things? You might want to brush up on your knowledge of season 2 first.

Considering the genre of entertainment that Stranger Things is based on, which includes films such as The Goonies and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, it may surprise many that season 2 was as highly regarded as it was.
