There are many rules to follow in any language, especially English. Knowing the correct usage of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions is a basic part of forming a sentence structure. There are many incredibly common grammatical mistakes that English speakers make. Do you know your 'to' from your 'too' and 'two'? To add to the confusion, these rules have many sub-conditions to follow.
Many grammar rules boggle a lot of people, stumping even the native English speakers. This includes the usage of common words like "you're" and "your". If you're unaware, "you're" is the contraction of "you are" and "your" refers to a possessive adjective that modifies nouns. Yet many people use them both to mean the same thing in writing. Another common mistake is using "there", "they're", and "their" interchangeably. Some of these errors may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised to know how many people make such glaring errors!
