Sounds good but I’m not enough a people person for this. I’m asocial. The reason I chose the desserts is because most of the dinners involved meat and fish and I’m vegan.

Too true. Not so much insecurities…but, rather self-denial.
I feel that…. but working on it is important. Strive to see the good not the bad. others opinions of you matter less than your own. In a way find a good trait to give yourself credit for. You DO deserve the things that are given to you in life. Realizing this now is better than realizing it at the end. People love you for you and some are friends for that reason. Don’t let your negative self talk you out of things you deserve a chance and everyone makes mistakes. we cant change the thing we did but we can strive to improve for the next time. the next opportunity is brighter as you reflect without judgment. People care and so should you from what I’ve seen you are an amazing person and you should value that. Find something you can give yourself credit for and feel happy about. Let your negative side go back to it’s corner or hit the road because that’s when you finally feel your own awesomeness and warmth. I hope you can someday except your amazing self!

Well…in the case of Tonks and Lupin…it makes sense. He probably felt it was best for him to be alone…for her’s and everyone else’s, safety. In a way, her persistence proved him wrong. She was capable of handling his differences. I mean, Teddy. But, I can definitely understand how that would be annoying.

But, sometimes, we push people away thinking it’ll be best for everyone. But that’s not always the case.
I’m speaking from experience. Sometimes, we have to allow others in…even if we think we’re better off alone. Because alone can be more painful, in the long run. And loneliness is a greater killer than smoking and obesity.

Change is scary for a lot of people. My roommate hates change too. But she’s stepped out of her comfort zone a lot, with me as a friend.
And I can tell you’re not boring, because you love Lupin. And NOTHING about Lupin is boring. Not even his choice in love! Tonks is far from boring. Just because the people around you make you feel boring, doesn’t mean you are. You just need someone(or people) who understands you and your anxieties.
