Do You Know the Plurals for These Tricky Words?

These words drive grammar police crazy!

The vast majority of nouns in the English language are made plural with the simple addition of an "s" or "es" to the end of the word. However, certain nouns don't follow the general rule for plural nouns, which make them trickier to get right.

Many of these irregular nouns are made plural by changing vowels (more than one man = men), adding a different ending (more than one child = children), remaining unchanged (more than one deer = deer), or changing the word itself (more than one tooth = teeth).

See if you can grasp the pluralization of some tricky nouns in this grammar quiz.
