HBO has created some of the most exciting, ambitious, and epic TV shows of all time, from the debut of The Sopranos in 1999 and Six Feet Under in the early 2000s to recent shows like Game of Thrones, Westworld and True Detective. Since the network began creating original works, it’s been clear that they have a different approach to the storytelling process. While traditional TV shows tend to have two-dimensional characters that are either “good” or “bad,” HBO goes deeper with their sophisticated works of fiction.
