Gen X? No, sorry, I’m a boomer, albeit one of the latter born ones. My little sisters are Gen Xers’ & the differences between us are profound, even though there aren’t many years between us. The differences in the generations are astounding though. I’m liberal to the core, having grown up during the era of womens’ lib, assassinations, civil rights, and protests throughout the nation. Let’s not forget Vietnam & Nixon, making me & many of my peers cynical of politics & government as a whole. My sisters were still pretty young while all this was going on. It was probably the best education one could get, just reading the newspaper & watching Walter Cronkite. They sure weren’t teaching anything like it in school!
