If you are unable to score more than a passing grade on this basic 9th grade spelling quiz then you should probably go back to school. Spelling is becoming a more difficult task with every passing day. With each bit of new technology that autocorrects our spelling or grammar, we stop practicing this very essential skill. These days, you don’t actually need to know how to spell words. You just need to be able to get close enough to the correct spelling that spell-check will automatically change the word for you.
In fact, many of the questions listed here contain words and sentences that were auto-corrected by a spelling and grammar app. The author of this quiz isn’t even able to spell many of these words correctly. Thankfully, they have an app to correct their mistakes. Let’s see how well you do without the same help. If you think you have what it takes to pass this 9th grade spelling test, then go ahead and give it your best shot.
