The allure of eating meat – good meat, cooked well – still offers one of life's purest pleasures. Meats punctuate and pepper our lives with flavor, pizazz, and goodness, and make us feel so very satisfied at the end of a protein-packed meal.
After a long day at work, it is natural to get a craving for a good, carnivorous meal---a massive, juicy burger; a tender, flavorful rack of ribs; or a perfectly seared steak. Meat is tasty and a little bit goes a long way toward filling the stomach. It is also an excellent source of complete, easily digestible protein. There are many vegetables that contain a fair amount of protein, but only a few have the complete protein that your body needs.
